Safety
Some experiments use batteries, coils, and strong magnets. A few sober points apply:
- A wire connected across a battery carries a large current and gets hot quickly. Do not leave it connected.
- Strong magnets snap together with force and can pinch skin. Keep them away from fingers, cards, and electronics.
- Strong magnets can interfere with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices. If you have one, follow the guidance of the device manufacturer and your physician.
