Unconventional MagnetsLeedskalnin's magnetism, read closely

Start here: the guides in reading order

By Eugenio TommasiUpdated September 20264 min read

This page lists every guide on the site in our suggested reading order. We start with standard magnetism, move to the Coral Castle hub, then read Edward Leedskalnin's five pamphlets in the order he published them. The Giza, Saturn and number pages come last. They give context; the pamphlets are the core.

Reading order

  1. Magnetism basics — poles, fields, domains and what a U-magnet does. Every "What standard physics says" note on the site points back here.
  2. Coral Castle — what is documented, what Leedskalnin said, and what the magnetism theory claims. The hub for the five guides below.
  3. A Book in Every Home (1936) — the earliest dated pamphlet: Ed's Sweet Sixteen, domestic and political views.
  4. Magnetic Current (August 1945) — the main text: the wire, coil and U-magnet experiments, read section by section.
  5. Mineral, Vegetable and Animal Life (October 1945) — the short pamphlet that extends his magnet model to living matter and carries the perpetual motion holder drawing.
  6. Magnetism — undated newspaper reprint; the guide describes the perpetual motion holder build and explains what it does.
  7. Magnetic Base — dated May 20, 1946, the last of the five; his appeal to researchers and what he asked them to test.
  8. The Great Pyramid of Giza — dimensions, dates and construction evidence from Egyptological sources.
  9. Zero Point — what the four-volume documentary claims and where to check each claim.
  10. Saturn — rings, moons, missions and the hexagon at the north pole.
  11. Saturn's hexagon — fact sheet, and how the explanation evolved from 1981 to 2017.
  12. Tycho Brahe and Kepler — measurement first, theory second.
  13. Numbers and patterns — where the number pages start.
  14. Fibonacci and the golden ratio in nature — what holds up and what does not.

Why this order

Physics comes first because the pamphlets use "magnet," "current" and "pole" in Leedskalnin's own sense; the standard meaning shows where his usage departs. The hub comes second because it separates what is documented at Coral Castle from what is claimed. The pamphlets follow by date: the later ones assume you have read Magnetic Current. Giza, Saturn and the number pages are context and stand on their own.

What happened to the "Ancient Knowledge" series

Until 2026 this address held a series of third-party videos, embedded with automatic transcripts, on consciousness, geometry, Fibonacci, pyramids, Coral Castle and Saturn. We no longer host video, and the transcripts had no sources. The topics that can be sourced now live in the guides above; the old addresses in that series redirect here or to the matching page.

FAQ

Do I have to read the pamphlets in order? No, but the order helps. Magnetic Current defines the terms the later pamphlets use without explanation, so reading it first saves you from guessing. A Book in Every Home is independent and can be read at any point. Each guide opens with a one-paragraph summary, so you can also start from the one that interests you.

Where can I read the original pamphlets? Scanned editions of A Book in Every Home, Magnetic Current and Mineral, Vegetable and Animal Life are free on archive.org, linked in the key facts above. Reprint editions are sold by major booksellers. We do not republish the full texts: our guides quote short passages, attributed and dated, and add drawings, parts lists and physics notes.

Does this site say Leedskalnin's theory is correct? No. We present his statements as his, with the year he wrote them, and put what standard physics says next to each one, with a source. Where an experiment can be built with magnets and wire, we describe it as the pamphlet describes it. We do not claim results we have not measured.
